Happy baby after bathtime.

This is what happens when you leave him in the exersaucer and go check your email around nap time.

Cohen (+ spit-up) and Daddy

Playing with Nana's Koosh ball

Playin' in the Exersaucer

Sitting in the Bumbo

Holding his head up.

Cohey Clause!! His first Christmas.

See any resemblance?

Ready to watch the game.

David and Cohen took lots of naps together.

Giving Daddy sugars

Man-to-man conversation

In the bouncy seat--he's almost 3 months old in this one.

Too cute!!

Sleeping on/with Daddy again.

Cohen and Naya sleeping on Daddy. Naya has adjusted pretty well, I should say. I think she may be accepting her #2 status.

Here's Cohen the first day he wore 3-6 month clothes--2 weeks after he was born.

Self explanatory.......

Me, about two weeks after Cohen was born, right before my two week checkup.

This is Cohen smiling in his sleep--which he often does. Every time I would try to put a hat on him to keep him warm while he napped, this is what would happen to it.

We spent a lot of time in this rocking recliner--it's where we would both sleep most of the day!
10 lbs. 6 oz. --the size of some 3 month olds was a lot for his hospital cradle thingy to handle. I have a picture of him overflowing the scale, but it's on the other computer.

Cohen was born at 3:13 p.m.

Proud Daddy....

Standin' UP!!!

Silly baby!!

WE'RE BAA-AACK!!!!!

In full effect! What's up peope!!? I know it's been like a year and a half since I blogged, but I had good reasons. First, I had pictures, but no internet--then internet, but no pictures (or no access to them, anyway, since the camera cord has been in a box in the storage building). And in between those times, I was kinda busy having a baby and all. Since the power source to my desktop died in storage, I will have to wait until I can buy another one to post belly and pregnancy pics. But I do promise to catch you all up picture-wise.

Anyhoo, on with the update. David and I are living in Monroe now. David is working for Edna Valley Food Services at CenturyTel (and LOVING it). He works Monday through Friday 6 or 7-3, but he is off every weekend and holiday. Pretty sweet schedule for the cooking industry. I have started my new job with the SSA. I am the new Service Representative for the Ruston office. That means that when you go to the SSA office, I am the friendly face you see sitting in the window. The job is good, but we are entering a tough part of the training. Not tough because of the training materials, but tough because I have to be in Shreveport every week (except 2) until September 12. Yeah! Cohen will be 10 months old by the time I am back in Monroe every night. David gets to know what it is to be a single parent, but he will have Nana and J to support him and rescue him when he needs a break.

Speaking of our precious little munchkin.....he is doing GREAT! He is 7 months old now, and growing like a weed--which you will see in pictures below. He is crawling now, and pulling up on stuff. I know, he crawled, literally, for like 2 days before he started pulling up. He has really started to babble, and can say Da-Da, though he hasn't quite connected that to David, yet. He has also started to eat real food. His day care tells me that he eats pizza and sausage and biscuits and graham crackers during the day. However, I am having trouble getting him to do it in my presence. To even get him to eat a 1/2 of a mashed up banana, I have to mix it into his baby food. But, we'll keep trying. He is such a sweet and good natured baby. Everyone is always bragging on him, and saying how cute he is (which we already knew, of course).

So I guess that's the update for now. I leave for Shreveport on Monday, June 16, but I will be back every weekend (except for the couple that David and Cohen come to Shreveport). My 2 weeks back are June 30-July 4th weekend and August 18-22.

By the way. I have no idea why there is so much space between some of the pictures. It did not look like that when I created it. If anyone had any ideas as to what I am doing wrong--like my blog-o-master sister-in-law, perhaps!!--please let me know.
